To extract the executable and define the appropriate subdirectories, type: PCI-SCSI /x. The version of each driver is as follows: - Novell .............. V2.15 - ASPI ................ V1.40 - Windows NT .......... V3.3 - Windows 95 .......... V3.3 - OS/2 ................ V3.11 - Help file ........... V1.5 - Install Program ..... V1.01 - BIOS ................ Change to that DOS directory (not the C:\DOS directory where many users choose to store their DOS files) and type INSTALL at the prompt. Follow the prompts and answer the questions to install the drivers required. Users may need to refer to the User's Guide. UPDATING BIOS Updating the BIOS is accomplished by using the included Flash utility: 1. Change directories if necessary so that you are in the same directory as the flashbio.bat file. 2. Type: flashbio and press [Enter] 3. Reboot your system Note: On some systems the flash utility will hang if himem.sys is loaded (a flash update normally takes less than 10 seconds). If this happens, reboot the system and press the key when the "Starting MS-DOS..." message appears so that the DOS boot will skip the config.sys and autoexec.bat files. The flash utility should now execute without hanging. MULTI-LINGUAL SUPPORT Western Digital has modified the FLEXware Setup program to support text in additional languages. To Convert to German 1.
