Welcome to the first issue of Heroin. After months of vote collecting and hard work by everyone on the staff we are glad to finally release it to the scene. We hope that by releasing this chartsmag, it will serve as a friendly forum for competition between groups to strive to be number one. We also hope that it will encourage true scene spirit and friendship. Currently we plan on consistently releasing this magazine, but it really comes down to how many votes we receive from the readers. We're also contemplating setting up a section of the charts in which we count votes from people's area of expertise. For example we would take all the votes for coders by fellow coders and put them in their own chart. Also, if we get enough positive feedback we are considering programming future issues under Win 95/98. In other words, we have many plans for this magazine, but none of them can be realized without your help and feedback. Finally, I'd like to comment on the mag itself. From the voters list it can be seen that the charts have an international feel to them. I feel that this is the ideal situation we can be in, and that hopefully this tradition will continue and expand in future issues. So until next issue! pyromaniac
