ELSA and Autodesk Enhance Performance in Autodesk Mechanical Desktop

A/E/C Systems, Chicago, IL – June 2, 1998 -- ELSA Inc. and Autodesk, Inc. (San Rafael, CA) today announced that the two companies have collaborated to ensure the highest possible graphics performance of Autodesk Mechanical Desktop for end-users and developers. ELSA and Autodesk® have worked together to optimize Autodesk Mechanical Desktop OpenGL graphics performance with ELSA GLoria hardware.

The ELSA GLoria products provide high-performance OpenGL acceleration in hardware at a compelling price. ELSA also supports AutoCAD and Autodesk Mechanical Desktop with POWERdraft, the only hardware accelerated driver for AutoCAD R14; and ELSAview 3D, a 3D viewer for AutoCAD. POWERdraft and ELSAview 3D are available for free with all GLoria boards.
