Bundled with Recoil and Trial Versions of Leading Arcade Titles

Las Vegas, NV (COMDEX L5640)- November 16, 1998 - -- ELSA, Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) today announced retail shipment of ELSA ERAZOR^™ II. Based on the RIVA TNT graphics chip technology from NVIDIA, ELSA ERAZOR II is bundled with Recoil, a full-version 3D game.

The powerful new RIVA TNT with its TwiN Texel processing engine, integrates a dual-pixel 32-bit color pipeline with 24-bit Z-buffer, 8-bit stencil buffer and per-pixel precision. RIVA TNT can apply two textures to a single triangle while processing two pixels per clock cycle to yield twice the pixel fill rate. The 250MHz RAMDAC is capable of driving the most extreme resolutions, color depths and ergonomic refresh rates up to 1600 x 1200 x 32bpp @ 85Hz.

Recoil from Virgin Interactive, is an action game with a science-fiction setting. Here as well, the game play and content - the merciless destruction of the minions of evil - let the player get it on quickly and easily. The creepy atmosphere is aided by the latest 3D features which make a big contribution to the gaming entertainment. ELSA ERAZOR II is optimized for Direct3D and OpenGL.
