ELSA Adds New High-Performance Graphics Board to GLoria Family

New ELSA Board Includes Award Winning GLINT MX Graphics Processor from 3Dlabs

San Jose, CA -- June 17, 1997 - ELSA Inc. today announced the latest addition to the high-end professional GLoria product line: the new GLINT MX-based GLoria board. This graphics accelerator, with the GLINT MX professional graphics processor from 3Dlabs, brings to life 3D graphics with tri-linear, per-pixel MIP mapping in hardware, high-performance texture mapping in hardware, as well as a high frame rate. ELSA's new GLoria board is the hallmark of professional standard graphics boards and guarantees to provide the highest possible 3D graphics performance available for today's PCs.

The ELSA graphics accelerator transforms Intel's Pentium Pro, Dual Pentium Pro, and DEC Alpha systems into high-end 3D workstations. The board is optimized for visualization, animation, modeling, 3D CAD, VR and simulation applications; it delivers ELSA's software advantage in API drivers, application drivers and productivity utilities.
