SANTA CLARA, CA – November 13, 1997— ELSA Inc. today announced the latest addition to its growing product line: a 15" Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD monitor bundled with a digital ELSA graphics accelerator, the WINNER 1000 Duo. A unique design by ELSA, the monitor delivers a 100% digital solution with a sophisticated look and feel. With a viewable screen greater than 16", the monitor takes up 65% less space than conventional 17" monitors. This monitor is ideal for corporate businesses, financial and healthcare institutions, and government agencies whose high-profile environments demand a sleek, modern design and maximum efficiency.

Form and function are synthesized in this latest design from ELSA. Photo-realistic colors combined with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels at 75 Hz offers the user first-class imagery and spectacular playback of video sequences. The TFT/LCD flat panel exceeds the display quality of any 17" monitor currently available. The 100% digital technology is responsible for brilliant display, and because of the fully plug & play implementation no fine tuning is required. The lightweight monitor not only saves desk space, but provides a crystal-clear image that consumes less power and emits virtually no radiation compared with traditional monitors.

This monitor comes bundled with a digital ELSA graphics accelerator, a 64-bit graphics processor equipped with 4MB of EDO-RAM, based on the Virge MX chip from S3. The product comes with drivers for Windows^® 95, Windows^® NT and OS/2^® Warp support. The digital graphics output has a PanelLink^TM interface and comes with additional analog graphics output for operation with conventional monitors. The system also has complete audio support and includes connectors for external speakers, a microphone and a headset.
