ELSA to be Featured in MICROCADAM Classroom at Autofact '97

ELSA providing GLoria-L/MX card for Helix Product Training Attendees

SANTA CLARA, CA - November 4, 1997 - ELSA today announced its partnership with MICROCADAM, Inc. and Dell Computer Corporation for the Autofact '97 hands-on Helix product training. Dell's Workstation 400 will be equipped with GLoria-L/MX cards for this training class organized by MICROCADAM. The class will be offered eight times during the show, and training attendees will be able to enter a drawing for an ELSA GLoria-L/MX graphics accelerator.

"ELSA is proud to be a sponsor for this event. This once again shows ELSA's commitment to the CAD market. The partnership with MICROCADAM also shows ELSA's continued efforts to support the growing international markets," says Thomas Neubert, vice president of sales and marketing at ELSA Inc.

"One of the critical decisions for an engineer is the selection of the correct 3D graphics board," says John Sunderland, marketing director of MICROCADAM, Inc. "Compliant boards for the Helix Modeling module need to have superior performance so that a user can visualize a 3D part or assembly on a 2D screen. Graphics cards with the performance level of the ELSA GLoria-L/MX card make the 3D shape spring into life. Our field reps report that this card rips!"

"I have been using in production the GLoria-L/MX 3D graphics board for the design of aircraft interiors. As a service the measurement of my engineering design successes are in the reflection of the color shaded renderings of the Helix Solid Models in my customers eyes. If successful, without a physical mockup, my customers will receive an order from their clients for hundreds of galleys and interiors for new and refits of commercial airline seating compartments," says Mark TenEyck of FCI Systems in Burbank, CA.
