SANTA CLARA, CA - August 18, 1997 - ELSA today announced ELSAview 3D, a 3D viewer fully compatible with AutoCAD R13 to effect enhanced graphics capabilities and performance. ELSAview 3D accelerates AutoCAD productivity by allowing users to manipulate shaded 3D wireframe, surface and solid models in real time while simultaneously eliminating unnecessary regeneration of AutoCAD views. ELSAview 3D enables easier editing of 3D geometry by dynamically updating the rendered model in its own display window. As a fully integrated 3D viewer for AutoCAD Release 13 as well as the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop, ELSAview 3D provides unparalleled ease-of-use for the AutoCAD user.

ELSAview 3D's transparent use in AutoCAD dynamically updates its 3D image and 3D display-list during editing.
