How can I set a not listed monitor into the systems monitor-registration on several systems?

The entries in the database of the ELSA-Settings in 'Properties of Display' are sorted by manufacturer and type. If you do not find your specific model in the database, you are able to fill in the necessary settings by using the button 'Change...'.



The button 'Change...' opens a new window of the 'Monitor-Registration'.



In case that you want to search the database for the model of your monitor choose 'Database'.




If the monitor is not listed, click on 'Other...' and the window for the 'Monitor-Registration' appears again.
Fill in the requested data in accordance with your monitor manual. Close the window by using the 'OK' button. A new entry is added to the database.



To apply the new entry on a second system, take a copy of the file \\<Windows>\System\WINman.mon to a floppy disk and copy this file into the same directory on the second system. After that the entry is listed in the Database. Apply the new listed monitor on the system by choosing the entry from the database. This step must be generated manually, because the system is not able to identify the monitor via DDC function.
