ELSA LANCOM - Least Cost Routing Offers the Most Economical Phone Rates

Use the call-by-call procedure to lower your phone bill

Aachen, March 1999 - The ELSA LANCOM Office Router series is now equipped with a least cost routing function. Thanks to this feature, ELSA LANCOM users are now in the position to take advantage of the lowest available phone rates.

If you already phone at different times of the day, using various phone companies to get the best rate, you will quickly become friends with the LCR (Least Cost Routing) function of the ELSA LANCOM Office router family. Or if this subject is new to you, the significant cost savings will quickly convince you.

Once you enter the area code, phone number, time and day, the LCR function is ready. The LANCOM Office Router uses the dial-around (or call-by-call) procedure to automatically provide you with the least expensive connection. LANCOM Office routers thus slash the high cost of office communications, especially when integrated with the private branch exchange in ELSA LANCOM 2000 Office. LCR can be used, and individually selected for each LANCOM Office router operating mode-ISDN router, ELSA LANCAPI, and as a PBX system.

For those operating LANCOM products already, firmware updates with the LCR function are available for download from the ELSA website at www.elsa.com/lancom.
