ELSA is the first European manufacturer to be authorized by the Windows Hardware Quality Labs to self-test their display products

The opportunity to perform the tests in Aachen enhances ELSA's time to market in the product launch phase

January 27, 1999 - ELSA AG, a leading manufacturer of data communications and computer graphics products is the first European manufacturer authorized by Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) to test their own display products. Manufacturers participating in the WHQL Self-Test program are authorized to perform the WHQL logo qualification tests at the company location. These tests verify the compatibility of hardware products with Microsoft Windows operating systems. The opportunity to perform the tests in Aachen enhances ELSA's time to market in the product launch phase. ELSA's authorization to perform self-tests resulted from a cooperative effort with the WHQL display test lab to ensure that all requirements and standards of the Designed for Windows logo program will be upheld.
