March 23, 1999 - ELSA Asia Inc. announces that the ELSA GLoria Synergy will be integrated in the newest version of the Legend Butian Prostation 1100.
In recent years, a growing trend in Mainland China has been for industrial designers to upgrade their systems to enhance their working environments. In order to meet this trend, Legend, the leading supplier of NT workstations, decided to expand the applications of their workstation and have chosen ELSA GLoria Synergy as the standard equipment for the Butian Prostation 1100.
Butian Prostation 1100 is equipped with Intel's Pentium III processor, 64-MB SDRAM and 10-GB HDD, the 440BX chipset and reaches 100 MHz FSB. These elements significantly improve the Prostation's 3D graphics performance and further confirm Legend's leading status in the Chinese market.
The ELSA GLoria Synergy is equipped with AGP bus, the PERMEDIA 2 processor from 3Dlabs, and 8-MB SGRAM. The 230-MHz pixel clock powers this board to resolutions of 1920 x 1200 in HiColor. It can be operated in multi-screen mode with up to six monitors and supports 16:10 wide-screen monitors. The ELSA GLoria Synergy provides bilinear texture mapping in hardware as well as hardware accelerated OpenGL®, HEIDI and Direct3D. To date, the GLoria Synergy has won several international awards, recommendations and citations worldwide.
In addition, ELSA offers after-sales services such as the regular driver updates which are available for free download on ELSA's web site. Further, ELSA continues to develop new professional utilities for users to accelerate their work flows. These utilities include extensions to many well-known programs such as AutoCAD®, 3D Studio MAX and SolidWorks. Users can also download them from the ELSA web site without restriction.
