This latest version features asynchronous background rendering, new text and audio engines, morphing transition, new overlays, import and export support for DirectShow and RealVideo, full 32-bit support (alpha channels), and a completely new video capture application.
One of the most significant new developments is asynchronous background object rendering. In contrast with conventional video processing programs, MainActor can be used to mix video clips, audio clips, stills and text objects on a time code, while video objects and transitions are asynchronously processed in the background. This results in faster processing, as well as the ability to preview directly on the time code in real-time .
For the first time, the user can transform objects or images with the aid of a new morphing transition in MainActor. High-quality image transformation occurs smoothly. The rendering engine is a special treat It is capable of producing three-dimensional rendered text, including light sources and shadows.
Even the most demanding audio and sound fanatics will want to post-process video films with MainActor. Included in the new audio engine is an import module for all current tracker modules, audio effects and audio filters.
As of May, a full version of MainActor 3.0 will be bundled with ELSA WINNER II and ELSA ERAZOR III.
