ELSA 3D REVELATOR Wins "Best Product Accessory" Award at RetailVision Spring '99

May 03, 1999 - ELSA today announced that its new 3D stereo glasses, 3D REVELATOR, won the award for Best Product Accessory at Spring RetailVision '99. 3D REVELATOR was also nominated in the Best Product Hardware category. ELSA 3D REVELATOR glasses offer computer game players an entirely new immersive way to truly become a part of the total game experience by bringing astounding three-dimensional IMAX-like reality to the standard PC. RetailVision, a bi-annual gathering of merchandisers and buyers from major retail, catalog, and e-commerce firms, is the premier showcase of the latest in consumer technology.

"The coveted RetailVision award is widely recognized as one of the computer retailing industry's leading honors, and ELSA is extremely pleased to receive this award for the 3D REVELATOR," said Uli Theissen, president of ELSA's US subsidiary. "ELSA 3D REVELATOR is the newest and most exciting gaming experience since 3D, and early retail market response has been phenomenal. Game enthusiasts are finally able to realize the potential of their 3D games."

ELSA 3D REVELATOR is the first pair of 3D glasses that works with almost any Microsoft Direct3D-based game and requires no additional hardware - all for a price that falls within the budget of most PC gamers. The ELSA 3D REVELATOR will be available in May 1999.

"The Best of RetailVision Awards honor leaders in consumer products for excellence and innovation in technology," said Nancy Splaine, vice president of RetailVision. "The Spring '99 RetailVision retail participants selected ELSA for the Best Product Accessory award because the 3D REVELATOR glasses exhibit great retail potential with their ability to draw players into the environment of their favorite games more intensely than ever before."
