ELSA AG: New Supervisory Board Members
March 2, 1998—ELSA AG in Aachen, Germany, one of the leading
manufacturers of PC peripherals for computer graphics and data communications, has appointed new members to its
supervisory board prior to its planned stock market flotation. Wolfang Dondorf and Theo Lieven could be won for these
positions. Dondorf was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Wolfgang Dondorf is also the Chairman of the Board of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology, Asslar.
This company’s shares have been traded on the New York Stock Exchange since 1996. In addition to his technical
competence, Dondorf also brings extensive experience in international capital markets to ELSA AG.
Theo Lieven is the cofounder of the Vobis computer retail chain. With his many successful years in
the computer industry and the marketing of consumer goods, he has a great deal of knowledge in fields which are also
of central importance to ELSA.
In addition, Dr. Hanno Schmitz-Hüser, who has been associated with ELSA for many years as a
qualified auditor and tax consultant, will remain a member of the Supervisory Board.
