October 19, 1998 - Wide-screen monitors are becoming an increasingly attractive proposition. ELSA, the market leader for 24" monitors, is reducing the recommended retail price of the award-winning ELSA ECOMO 24H96 by 20 percent in time for the SYSTEMS 98. The price of an ELSA 16:10 monitor will thus drop below the DM 3,500.00 mark for the first time ever.

The ELSA ECOMO 24H96 features an especially generous screen area capable of displaying one A3 or two A4 pages in full size, together with the required tool bars. The monitor is PC and Mac-compatible and is ideal for CAD, DTP and graphics work.

In the words of ELSA AG's Director of Sales, Bernd Brüll, "High demand and rising sales figures enabled us to substantially reduce the production costs of the ELSA ECOMO 24H96. That means that we're now in a position to offer this 24" monitor to our customers at a price comparable to that of a high-quality 21" unit.

ELSA provides an extensive service package in the form of the ELSA ServiceDirect Program for ECOMO monitors. This includes a three-year warranty with free Europe-wide ELSA-Onsite repair service (which includes the provision of a monitor of a comparable standard during the repair period), as well as 100 days of ELSAcare (immediate exchange of a defective unit for a new one of a comparable standard within 100 days of purchase) which is available exclusively in Germany. The customer is provided with support and advisory services during all phases of the warranty work by ELSA's own Customer Service Department.
