Leading Manufacturers of High-End PCs Choose GLoria 3D Graphics Boards from ELSA

With innovative products and outstanding service, the German computer graphics specialist belongs to the top five graphics boards manufacturers world-wide

Several leading PC manufacturers now equip their professional 3D workstations with GLoria graphics boards from ELSA. Through these partnerships the innovative German graphics and data communications specialists have made another big step towards their goal to become the premier provider of professional graphics solutions around the globe.

Built into the Compaq Professional Workstation 5100 and the DELL WorkStation 400, the ELSA GLoria-XL board provides outstanding 3D graphics performance. Other technology and business partnerships in 1998 are planned to provide workstation products for professional engineers and designers.

Thomas Retzlaff, Director of Sales EMEA/Global OEM at ELSA, knows that these achievements didn't just fall into ELSA's lap:

"All products are thoroughly tested by ELSA and by our OEM partners. It's not only application performance that counts, but also factors like compatibility, reliability and quality certification, which guarantee stable performance of the entire system, hardware and software, when integrated into a complete workstation solution. In this regard, ELSA is the world-wide leader."

Stefan Kriebel, Business Unit Director for professional graphics products at ELSA, explains the company's plans for the future:

"Internationalization has been our basic strategy for several years. The success of our globalization process is shown, for example, by our partnerships with world-leading PC manufacturers like Compaq, Dell, and Siemens Nixdorf. According to ELSA's OEM plans, our WINNER and GLoria graphics systems will be used not only in a growing number of high-end PCs world-wide, but also in mid-range and entry-level systems. The high quality level of ELSA products is the main reason that ELSA has succeeded in expanding into this demanding market segment and partnering with leading PC manufacturers.

By the year 2000, I expect ELSA to be one of the top three leading manufacturers for graphics boards."
