The New ELSA QuickStep Family of ISDN Boards - Now Complete!

ISDN plug&play complete solutions, ready for immediate use

Aachen, GermanyAfter the successful launch of the ISDN board ELSA QuickStep 1000, ELSA presents two further plug&play ISDN boards at CeBIT '97. With ELSA QuickStep 1000pro and ELSA QuickStep 3000 the new ELSA QuickStep family is now complete!

The accompanying Windows® software package ELSA-RVS-COM now includes software not only for Windows® 95, but also for Windows NT® 4.0 and Windows® 3.1x. With the complete driver collection for Windows NT®, Windows® 95, Windows® 3.1x, OS/2 and DOS, the ELSA QuickStep 1000pro is ready for immediate use with the major communications applications.

Just as for the ELSA QuickStep 1000, pre-configured software components offer direct access to ISDN communications, with functions such as file transfer, EuroFileTransfer, fax and answering machine (via software), as well as "virtual COM-ports" for the use of common data communications software (e.g. Telix).

ELSA-RVS-COM offers an extremely powerful fax function and can send and receive faxes with up to 14,400 bps.

The Internet access is realized by the NDIS-WAN miniport driver, and the Multilink PPP (MLPP) provides transfer speeds of up to 128 kbps.

ELSA QuickStep 3000 is a plug&play combination of ISDN and analog modem technology. In addition to the functions of ELSA QuickStep 1000pro, ELSA QuickStep 3000 offers hardware-supported fax transmissions which run in the background with up to 14,400 bps, and analog V.34 high-speed modem communications with up to 33,600 bps.

ELSA QuickStep boards offer a favorable price-performance relationship and can be easily installed. The automatic hardware installation, the complete software set, and the software CD-ROM with an automatic start function and a software installation assistant offer real plug&play also for inexperienced users.
