ELSA Lights a Fireworks Display of New Products at CeBIT '98
The German manufacturer of high-quality computer graphics
and data communications products will be exhibiting in Hannover
on three dedicated booths
The countdown to CeBIT is running. ELSA will once
again be present at the world's largest computer exhibition.
In all areas of its business, ELSA will be using the event in
Hannover to present interesting news and brand-new products to
an international audience.
The following classes of products will be displayed on the ELSA
booths: graphics boards, modems, ISDN cards and external devices,
monitors, ISDN routers, PC cards, and videoconferencing systems.
ELSA's products for office applications will be shown on the main
booth in Hall 8, EG C28; the communications systems will be exhibited
on booth F55 in Hall 15. Visitors will find graphics systems
for professionals in Hall 21, booth C26.
The following product highlights will be presented by ELSA:
- ELSA MicroLink™ Office: The 56k
modem with offline memory, answering machine, brand-new ELSA software,
and stand-alone functionality.
- ELSA ECOMO™ 19H98 and ELSA ECOMO™
21M98: The first 19" monitor with a 94kHz Trinitron
CRT, and the 21" top model, also with a Trinitron CRT (107
kHz).
- ELSA GLoria™-XXL: The graphics board
for high-end visualizations on PC. The high-performance graphics
board is equipped with the brand-new GLINT Gamma graphics chip,
56 (!) MB graphics memory and AGP bus.
- ELSA TanGo™ 1000 and ELSA TanGo™
2000: ELSA's external ISDN adapter for ISDN basic-rate
interfaces. TanGo 2000 additionally provides two connectors
for analog devices, such as telephone or fax.
- ELSA MicroLink™ MC all: ELSA's PC
card for digital and analog connections. Connected to the ISDN,
this card carries out data transfers at up to 128,000 bps. Should
only a normal telephone connection be available, then this card
works as a fax/data modem with up to 33,600 bps.
- ELSA LANCOM™ 1000 Office and
ELSA LANCOM™ 2000 Office: The ISDN router
duo in the SOHO range. An overhauled Config program makes ELSA's
router simple to install. The ELSA LANCOM 2000 Office
additionally provides 4 a/b ports for connecting analog devices.
- ELSAvision™ 32: The H.320-compatible
videoconferencing system with Plug&Play installation and Microsoft®
NetMeeting for application sharing, whiteboarding, chat and file
transfer under Windows® 95 and Windows®
NT.
