"After loading 3d Mark 99's demo mode, I put the glasses on my face and waited with disbelief. My disbelief was warranted, but only by the fact that I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The image was truly 3d, in the opening sequence of the meteors passing by barreling towards earth I could have sworn one was going to hit me. It was amazing, and I can tell you truthfully it does add to gaming in a big way.

Other than Rainbow Six, I also tried out the Ultra HLE with Zelda 64. It worked flawlessly, and I can bet not one Nintendo 64 owner felt as absorbed in the game as I did the two and a half hours I played it. Link's world came to life. Does it justify the expense of the glasses? For me, definitely. Would I ever consider not using the glasses for a Direct 3d game? Not anymore.

GURUTECH 6/99"I would say, however, that on average, putting these glasses on was like a kick to the groin: in a good way. I was simply blown away by how these graphics looked, and the reality I seemed to be in. Every game I loaded up induced me to jump out of my chair, and sometimes even mumble "woah". (Keanu Reaves, Matrix style)
I hate leaving the explanation as "you have to see it to believe it," but that's just the way it is. There aren't any performance benchmarks or screenshots I can give you to show you the difference, but you can rest assured, there is a difference. The depth added to games by these glasses is well worth the money the corded version costs, although only D3D games run them. (which means no Quake III or II or I for that matter)
Conclusion
The next time you find yourself with money burning a hole in your pocket, run, don't walk, to Best Buy and buy these glasses. The investment will return itself 10 fold, and the visual quality you'll experience is second to none.

Now we have seen, or at lest hear of the H3D or eyeSCREAM glasses before. Why are these glasses any better ?
The Good and the Bad
Well the glasses can certainly improve your gaming experience, the only downfall of the glasses is the requirement for an ELSA made graphics card, and having a monitor that supports a very high refresh rate. If your other computer hardware ( graphics card/monitor/cpu ) is powerful enough to support the 3D Revelator glasses I would definitely recommend getting them For under $50 they are one of the better pieces of computer gaming hardware today.
Conclusion
IMAX at home ! Experience true 3D for dirt cheap ! If you are gamer and want total and real 3D - get the glasses. They will be a hit ! "
