With ELSAview 3D, ELSA provides users of GLoria and Synergy graphics boards with a special ELSA application for real-time rendering of 3D objects. ELSAview 3D features a wide range of functions, an intuitive mouse or keyboard-controlled user interface, and an unmatched level of rendering performance.

ELSAview 3D can be used with CAD and animation applications. Thanks to VRML and Open Inventor file format support, this allows 3D models to be rendered and presented even without the original application.

Furthermore ELSAview 3D can be fully integrated into AutoCAD or Autodesk Mechanical Desktop. In real time, the object you are designing is displayed in a nearly photo-realistic, three-dimensional view in a viewport from AutoCAD or in a dedicated window on your desktop.

You can adjust the perspective simply by dragging with the mouse. You can define light sources and modify the object colors. Let your model rotate continuously while you continue to work in AutoCAD - at the speed of your choice and around a freely definable axis. Simply zoom in for a more detailed view. Changes in ELSAview 3D can be performed without regenerating the AutoCAD viewport or, if you so wish, the AutoCAD viewport can be updated simultaneously.

Want to present your results or integrate them into other applications? You can, for example, print your model from ELSAview 3D, or export it as a bitmap or VRML file which allows you to send your model via E-mail or to present it on the Internet.
