The monitor shows one/several vertical darker/lighter lines. The picture flickers on that position.

Depending on the wrong handeling during the transport, the vertical filament touched. The following marks can be seen:

Display
The display shows light gray or white vertical lines. This lines are shown from the above area to the middle or low area. Most times the effect is visuable on the left or right edge. This areas are often flickering or lighter than the remainig display. Sometimes there are white lines crossing the area.

Solution
As a conventional method the following steps are helpful:
Swith on the device and allow it to warm up (about 30 minutes). Hit the wrong displayed area with your blank fist. Please mention that you are not wearing any metal objects (like rings, watch or chains), that could damage the surface of the color tube and guarantee, that the device can not tumble down during the proceedings. The monitor works fine again if you can not see a distortion anymore.Aternatives
Because this effect is a result of wrong handling during transport, ELSA will not accept a complaint as guarantee. The responsible service can fix the problem, as the customer send the device free shipped to the service.
