How do multimedia applications (which cover the complete screen) work in a multiscreen surrounding?

Question
Does the use of DESKman (or the ELSA Desktop) change anything?

Answer
Using DESKman in the standard way (centered/maximized windows on one screen), you'll see half of the multimedia application on the primary screen, while the other screen(s) still show the desktop (without a chance to use it!). Deactivating DESKman (menu in the taskbar) makes the application use all screens completely and cover the whole desktop.
There is no chance to start thoses applications only on one screen, unless you lower resolution to a single screen one!
Problems like this are not known under Windows 98, because the operating system opens these applications only on the primary screen.
