How to de-install the ELSA display list driver for MicroStation
MicroStation handles all loadable modules in a directory MDLSYS, in subdirectories ASNEEDED and REQUIRED.
All those drivers in the REQUIRED subdirectory are loaded automatically when starting MicroStation. If all files DRV95.* are deleted or moved to ASNEEDED, the ELSA driver will no longer be loaded automatically.
You can also load or unload drivers included in these subdirectories dynamically by typeing 'mdl (un)load drv95' in the command line. You may also program these functions to any unused function key.
Whether the ELSA driver is loaded or not is to be seen from the existance of an additional 'ELSA' pull down menu entry behind 'help'. This entry is gone, when not using the ELSA driver.
For MicroStation 5.0 the same is valid when using DRV50.* instead.
