The function file preview does not show anything when used in AutoCAD with ELSA POWERdraft under Windows 9x
If used under Windows 95 or 98, the ELSA POWERdraft for AutoCAD R14.x does not properly store the bitmap for the file preview, when storeing a file. In result the previously saved files will not show a (correct) preview bitmap in the file open dialog under any operationg system.
Powerdraft does store this preview correctly under Windows NT! So files stored under Windows NT do include the bitmap and show it even under Windows 9x.
Until this problem is solved by a driver or POWERdraft update, you might need to deactivate the ELSA POWERdraft for storing the preview bitmap use Start -> Programs -> ELSAware -> POWERdraft-> configure original driver, or use this functionality under Windowy NT.
