Yes, it does. In most systems it will be assigned automatically to the corresponding PCI or AGP slot. If not, please activate the option <Assign IRQ to VGA> or a feature similar to that in the BIOS Setup of your machine. We do not recommend interrupt sharing with other devices.

miroMAGIC Premium supports these APIs:

No, you don’t. To get an output onto the TV screen, the PC monitor mustn’t be connected to the graphics card. Switching from PC- to TV screen during operation is not possible.

The display mode of TV-out is 640x480. There is no possibility to switch to other (overscan-) resolutions.

You can run the actual AutoCAD Release 14 under Windows 95 and Windows NT as well as earlier AutoCAD for Windows releases with the generic Windows displaylist driver of AutoDesk and the Windows driver software coming with miroMAGIC Premium.

Yes it does. Driver version 2.0 or higher of miroMAGIC Premium contains a Mini-Client-Driver (MCD) for Open GL under Windows 95/98.

This effect only occurs with driver version 1.50. Please use driver V. 2.00 or higher.

This message may have different causes:

1. There is wrong Windows 95 version installed on your machine. à install Windows 95 OSR2 as well as the USB Update (usbsupp.exe) or Windows 98.
2. DirectX isn't or not correctly installed. à newly install DirectX5
3. VGARTD.VXD isn't installed. Please check via <Control Panel>, <Software> or by searching the registry file. à install the driver from the miroMAGIC Premium System Software CD.
4. The option "AGP Aperture Size (MB)" in the Chipset Features Setup of the mainboard BIOS is set to less than 32MB. à set this value to at least the amount of system memory in your machine.

The conflict message is caused by the Microsoft VGARTD.VXD driver for Windows 95. It doesn't influence the functionality of miroMAGIC Premium AGP. Microsoft fixed the problem in Windows 98.

Edit the "Chipset Features Setup" in the BIOS-Setup of your machine and set the value for <AGP Aperture Size (MB)> to at least a size that is corresponding with the amount of RAM installed in your PC. If the Aperture Size is lower than the amount of RAM, the primary display driver will not be supported by DirectX. You can check this in the DirectX Setup.

There is an incorrect impedance of the DDC signal of your monitor that causes an I²C error on the card and doesn't allow the digitizing chip to be recognised. Some older monitor seem to be not fully DDC compliant. Please check by connecting another monitor with better DDC compliance.

The highest possible capture resolution is 352x240 pixels at 24bit (YUV9)

At present it is not possible to record video and audio simultaniously with miroLIVE.
Use Driver Version 1.50 or higher. This driver has a general Video Capture driver for Windows that is able to capture sequences in AVI format, i.e. video and audio data with standard Windows capture applications like e.g. MS VidCAP32.

No, it doesn’t. 3Dfx applications cannot be run on miroMAGIC Premium. To do so you need a 3Dfx add-on hardware with the Voodoo chipset of 3Dfx Interactive like miroHISCORE 3D or miroHISCORE² 3D. Both these card can be used without any problems in a miroMAGIC Premium system.

Switch your Windows desktop to the resolution and coulours in which the game runs and change the refresh rate in tab miroMONITOR in <Display Properties>.

You need the actual miroMAGIC Premium driver V. 2.00 and a patch of software manufacturer EIDOS for RIVA 128 based cards. You'll find the EIDOS patch in the Internet at http://www.eidosinteractive.com/techsupp/ffvii/ffvii-patches-riva.html.
