Security Firewall functions are protecting the whole system and the network against not permitted access from outside. You decide who gets access to which pages and at what time. Protection from problematic contents and undesirable data. An integrated email filter protects the system and the user against udesirable mails (Spam). The Internet-Manager basicly does not accepts calls from outside, not like email and proxy servers. Because of that, direct bugging operations are impossible. The Internet-Manager tkes care that only the proxy and email server performs requests to the Internet and furthermore only accepts exact answers. On this way it is assurd that no other types of data are exchanged in the Internet. It is not possible to access a workplace PC from the Internet. Furthermore is the Internet-Manager addionally protected on the TCP/IP level. A "portscan" is not able to find open TCP/IP ports which are potential points of attacks for hackers. Because in this regard it is not needed to adjust, an exploit tracing back to this is excluded. |
