NEC Choses the ELSA GLoria Synergy™ Graphics Solution for the NEC Express Workstation Series

January 06, 1999 - ELSA Japan Inc. announces that the ELSA GLoria Synergy has been selected to power NEC Corporation's NEC Express workstation, and comes standard in the new Express5800/50 workstation line including the Express5800/53Wb, Express5800/55Wb and Express5800/56Wa. These workstations are available starting in December 1998.

NEC is one of the leading NT workstation vendors in Japan and shipped an estimated 10,000 workstations in 1998, representing an increase of more than 200% in shipments from the previous year (3,200 workstations).
