Planet 9 Studios Creates
an Einstein Character
on an ELSA GLoria Synergy
David Colleen, CEO of Planet

The Einstein image was created
using various programs including 3D Studio MAX, Cosmo Worlds, Sound Forge
and Photoshop. |
"The PERMEDIA 2-based GLoria Synergy put our VRML worlds into
a whole new arena, stated David Colleen." "All of a sudden we had 30 frames
per second and graphics performance rivaling a mid-level SGI at an incredibly
low price. We just received a GLoria-XXL which has even better graphics
and frame rate. Our animators are fighting over this machine because they
can work so much faster."
Planet 9 Studios has used ELSA graphics cards on the following projects:
Virtual Kyoto for Fujitsu
Virtual Tokyo for 3Dlabs
MOI project for the US Navy
Virtual Bay Area for NASA
Towers's Crescent for Williams Whittle
Virtual Sydney for IBM and the 2000 Sydney Olympics and
The CMP Site Map.
Scott Porter, winner of the GLoria-XXL

"I first heard about ELSA
from reading product reviews and advertisements in graphics magazines such
as NT Studio and InterActivity. I intend on using the board with 3D Studio
MAX. Creating 3D graphics has always been a hobby of mine. I have created
all sorts of images which vary from the real world to totally imaginary.
Since this is a hobby and I have little time to play, this card will enable
me to create instead of wait." |
