For over 15 years now, ELSA has been developing, producing and marketing PC peripheral equipment for computer graphics and data communications. We have emerged from an intensely competitive environment in Germany to take a leading position in almost all of the market segments covered by our company as a result of this consistency in our orientation. We are also one of the few internationally established German manufacturers in our industry. Our products enjoy worldwide acclaim and are successfully marketed in Germany and abroad.

ELSA emerged from its roots at the Technical University of Aachen in 1980. We not only benefit from this central location at the heart of Europe, but also from the steady stream of highly qualified engineers from this internationally renowned university. Short development cycles and innovative products with mature technology remain the cornerstones of our continued growth.

An important move to secure our future growth was the conversion of our company to a stock corporation and the IPO in 1998. ELSA's international sales and marketing subsidiaries will continue to expand along with our German market position. Nearly 10% of ELSA's workforce is currently employed in our international subsidiaries in the USA, Taiwan, and Japan.
